Insect Shield repels mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, fleas and midges, many of which can carry dangerous diseases such as malaria or Lyme disease. The active ingredient is a man-made version of a natural insect repellent found in certain types of chrysanthemum plants. Registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), it can be used by pregnant or nursing women and children of any age.
